Well my name is Shane Riesen and I was brought up in the small town of Independence, California. Had a red blooded American childhood and played football and baseball all throughout high school. Work my first job, right after graduating high school, as a student intern for the Los Angles Department of Water power on the lovey Owens dry lake (google it) Once fall came back around I attended, Montana State University and like most had know idea what I was doing for a future. I was lucking enough to find something that ignited my focus and passion , Construction Engineering Technology. The reason I took a internship was to truly find my path in this expansive and ever changing industry. I knew that a internship would provide me the in-depth view I needed to focus my drive on a career. Also I knew that actually begin in a internship would allow me to dispel at least some of the myths and lies about the industry. It would proved me a good opportunity to see just what is real and where I could fit in.
