Ive have been raised in construction for over 15 years in commercial electrical. My dad got me into right out of high school ..I had been fighting with self when i first started in trade that i did not want to be in it… It took my father passing for me to realize that this is my trade and my future… So after his passing I had an opportunity to join a union in az… Then they gave me the opportunity to go threw the apprenticeship.
What results did you achieve on the internship, and how did you exceed the company's expectations for your role?
I am the first union electrcian in my family ever and thats neat to think . Second generation electrician but a start to a new future..
What did you learn in this internship that will affect your life in a positive way?
I am learning things like soliderity,brotherhood ,attitude, .. I might be able to lead some in the near future.
How were you involved with safety and/or quality during your internship, and how did that change your perspective on construction?
Made me think as to what i do at work effects me at home .My family is the reason for me to succeed and be safe. Saftey is the reason I scan go home in one piece. .
